Creating a Stock Sub-Album Main | Previous Page | Next Page

1. Go to http://www.photostockplus.com/ and log into your account. (If you are unsure how to log in, click here).

2. Click on the "Stock Albums" tab for a dropdown menu with additional options.

3. Choose the stock album you wish to create your sub-album in by clicking its thumbnail in the main window.

4. In the left column, click the "Create new Sub-album" button.

5. Enter the required fields:

    Album Name
    This will be the name of your new sub-album.

    Sub album of
    Select the stock album you wish to create your sub-album in from the dropdown menu.

    The description entered will be viewed by buyers and visitors who are browsing through your albums. Use the space in whichever way you feel most appropriate, and which best "sells" your album.

    Use the scroll down menu to choose which category best suits the content in your sub-album. This gives viewers and photo buyers another way to find your images.

    If you feel none of the categories listed suits the content of your album, you may leave the selection as "None".

    Default Watermark
    A watermark is a semi transparent text which is applied automatically onto your images when they are viewed by visitors and photo buyers. This watermark is meant to protect the photographer and his/her work, and will not appear when the image is purchased.

    Choose a watermark type by checking the box next to the selection.

      Images will have no watermark applied.

      Photostock Plus
      Select this to apply the default watermark (Photostock Plus, Digital Photography).

      This option allows you to create a custom watermark.

      Fill in the empty slot with the text you wish to use (example: Image by John Smith, copyright 1998), and set the parameters of the watermark:

      Size - font size
      Intensity – how dark or light the font’s shade of grey will appear
      Opacity – how transparent the mark will be
      Placement - where on the image the watermark will be located

    Pricing Group
    Photostock Plus offers 3 default pricing templates (low, medium, and high). Use the scroll down menu to select the pricing template for the images in your album.

    You may also create a custom pricing template for a specific album. For more information on pricing your images, click here.

    Enter Password
    If you would like your album to be viewed freely by the Photostock Plus community of viewers and buyers (recommended), leave this field blank.

    You may type in a password in this field if you wish to password protect your sub-album for private viewing. Buyers and viewers may request the password from you if they wish to view the sub-album.

6. Click on "Add Album"

7. You can now proceed to uploading images to this album.
